>>43326766If you want to get more seriously into teambuilding, here's a short list of things every serious team should have and be prepared for:
- Stealth Rock (Spikes and Toxic Spikes are nice to have but not mandatory)
- Hazard control (Defog, Rapid Spin, Magic Bounce etc.)
- Speed control (Usually a Choice Scarf user but stuff like Sticky Web or weather-abusers can work too depending on the team. However having a choice scarf does not mean the other 5 Pokemon on your team should be slow as shit)
- Z-Crystal user of choice
- Answer to common weather cores
- Various immunities/resists are basically mandatory but every good teamneeds a Ground immunity, an Electric immunity and a good answer to Water, Dark, Flying and Psychic notably
- Wincons and stuff that supports your main wincons
- Ways to deal with common wallbreakers and set-up sweepers
- Wallbreakers and stallbreakers of your own
- Not necessarily a dedicated lead but if your team has a hard time leading off against most popular leads it's bad
There's plenty of other stuff to consider of course, some of which is pretty obvious (like not using 6 special attackers so you don't auto-lose to Chansey) but that will come more with experience too. That's why it's important to start of with already proven decent teams so you get an idea of what works.
