It was fun following the whole Ndex stuff from the beginning but as the months went by people stayed on the same tired arguments and low textured tree images to the point of it making it seem as nothing but whining towards buyers of the game who either played only G1-G2 or are just getting into the series, who would have not really cared and in addition certain 'bad actors' being the reason why they saw the Ndex movement as nothing but "toxic." Distantkingdom whose relevance came from the situation *could* have led the movement instead of leeching on the same things like everyone else but for youtube revenue.

Wasn't expecting them to fail (you would have to be a moron to think this were to happen) but not surpass 15 mil either, i was legit pissed considering they said they wanted these games to be something longtime fans to look forward to and i was under the impression that since LGPE was for normies (and was even going to be a series if it sold well) Gen 8, being on a major console and being in development for 3 years they were going to go deliver a decent plate, went onto play other things and felt alot better.

It looked okay and some criticism was overblown but it sure as hell does not justify the 60$ tag and having to pay more money to fill the void that is galar doesn't make anything better so i will just pirate it, like i have been doing to every pokemon game after Unova, the one that started the trend anyway.

You can't boycott a game when the only people angry are a niche of a niche of a niche. In a franchise that has always been a mass appeal casual franchise.

For someone to truly boycott it they would have to be a long time fan that is also hardcore invested in it but somehow also tired of the main gameplay loop thus completely sure they would have zero fun with the game. And that's just not a remotely large amount of the player base.

Because they're not retarded enough to try and re-sell a third version this time out, especially when they can just do a DLC and still keep the paired games selling, as opposed to culling their momentum completely.
They don't like waitfags, it's why over the past 4 gens they did an outright sequel, no third version, a paired third version different enough to tempt people to buy again and DLC for an already-released game. They want people buying their paired games as well as the thirds, if going the DLC route increases what's essentially third version uptake while continuing to sell copies of the base game, it's no wonder they'd go that route, they're guaranteeing their sales.

The whole point of new games is to improve on the old ones, not do the same shit over again. You also STILL after all these months cant understand that having ~400 in the pokedex isn't the issue, it's that the other half of the pokedex isn't even PROGRAMMED in the game. Yes black and white 2 have a unovadex, but there was no problem with transferring, e.g. a cyndaquil or whatever to those games. That's not the case with SwooShit.

Cool, I figured that's how it worked after doing a quick google of how they handled Weezing. I'm pretty sure that's how they handled it in Gen 7 too, but because it's a new game and I haven't kept informed on it, I was unsure of how they handled such things currently.

I just wasn't going to hold my breath because I really wouldn't be surprised at this point if it didn't pan out that way. But thank you, I'll wait until the DLC is out and see.

You can’t change peoples’ minds on Pokemon is what I’ve learned. Even if you can demonstrate a distinct lack of quality and quantity and do your best to highlight it to the point of it being painful, the Pokemon movement will still have to have their Pokemon. It’s a capitalism success story really, but I’d rather just have good new Pokemon games.
