>>43336995It's as much of a status symbol as you make of it. To this day, I've been using Pokemon that I've had since before Beast Balls were even a thing and I'll never replace them just so I can show off a Pokeball.
I have ball preferences of my own, but someone's not better than someone else because of the ball they choose to use because a Pokemon in a Beast Ball is not the ultimate quantifier of status and people just have different tastes and opinions. Not to mention, anyone can do this if they simply choose to and take the time to do so.
But being able to swap the current Pokeball of a caught Pokemon should totally be a thing. It would add an appreciated layer of personalization.
