Just to clarify. Pokemon Pink WAS planned sometime at the beginning of developing Pokemon Yellow (as they were going to be two versions, just like with Pokemon Red/Blue) but the idea ended up scrapped.
Based on what info we currently have, the main mascot of the game was Clefairy.
