you're right that sword and shield make it easier to make a competitive team, Brett, but they haven't addressed the problem of IVs adding tons of pointless grinding for no reason
do you need me to spell it out for you, Brett? i wouldn't want you to go on another pointless tangent because you don't understand what's going on, Brett.
if your mon needs 0 speed IVs, Brett, there's nothing in gen 8 that can help you with that. you just have to breed for hours until you birth something that naturally has them, Brett. and God forbid, Brett, that the pokémon in question can't breed. then you're stuck soft resetting for IVs, Brett. it's very time consuming, Brett. no fun at all, Brett.
IVs are a bad mechanic, Brett. they don't contribute anything to the game at all, Brett, and they drag it down with tedious bullshit. that's what my post was hinting at, Brett. i hope that cleared things up for you, Brett.
