>>43346141Aether's goal differed depending on the game. In Sun/Moon, their goal was to capture Cosmog (Nebby) to open Ultra Wormholes so Lusamine can find her husband, Mohn. Lusamine lost Mohn and tried to control her children, but they each rebelled from her. Aether created Type: Full (Silvally) to fight the Ultra Beasts that might pose a threat to the region. Lusamine got corrupted by a Nihilego and focused on being with Nihilego above all else, even forgetting about Mohn. Lusamine froze all of her precious Pokemon so she would never lose them like she did with Mohn or her children. Faba's goal was to just be the leader of a successful organization, not even caring whether that organization was Aether or not. Wicke's goal was the purest, as she actually wanted to help and save Pokemon that were abused by people or nature. She helped the international police stop the Ultra Beasts, but she had no intention on using or capturing them for her own benefit.
In USUM, Aether's goal was more to prepare against Necrozma plaguing the region with darkness, and they only wanted Cosmog just to open a wormhole to fight against it. She had similar goals as in SM, but Lusamine was more noble. She still abused her children and froze Pokemon, but mostly to protect them from Necrozma. Faba and Wicke were the same though.
Skull's goals were straightforward. They were all dropouts who were not strong enough to complete the island challenge. They wanted to stop other trainers from completing the challenge, and to prove how strong they are. Guzma especially wanted the approval of others, as he and the rest of Skull were easily manipulated into doing Lusamine's dirty work in capturing and abusing Pokemon just so she can contain them in Aether. Lusamine told Guzma the words of approval he wanted to hear, and he followed her like a dog throughout the second half of the game until Nihilego spooked him out. Skull mostly did as Lusamine instructed during the second half by capturing Nebby
