Why are Pokemon fans pretty much the only fanbase that has trouble accepting the superhuman powers of their franchise's characters?

No one questions Superman shooting lasers from his eyes. No one questions Goku's hair changing color when he powers up. Yet stuff like Machamp moving mountains with one hand or Magcargo being 18,000 degrees Fahrenheit is considered outlandish by Pokemon fans. In the same series where Ponyta/Rapidash can simply will their flames not to burn people, and Sharpedo can choose whether or not is skin is rough.

Instead of just embracing the fantasy elements, Pokemon fans will ridiculously try to claim that official information is incorrect and push their retarded headcanons.
