The Alolan version is less dynamic and overall more boring as not only is there less you can do with its design but its design pigeonholes it more into playing a specific role which removes the freedom of the original.It's not like having that freedom helped Raticate in any way at all. It's just a brown rat, but it doesn't even have much rat like aspects so there's nothing to it.
