>>43357993you're probably best starting off with a monster collectan game. here's some ive played
>world of final fantasy really cool gameplay inspired by old final fantasy but with stacks of monsters. fun, interesting battles. story is silly and cute, sort of a parody of old fantasy stories
>persona 53 and 4 are also good but 5 is a masterpiece. it's set up as a sort of life sim where you can work a job, go out with friends, study for tests etc in addition to dungeon crawling. insane amount of optional content too.
>smt4athis game is more or less the same series as persona, so the combat is pretty similar. smt tends to be more strategic though, having you steal turns from enemies and giving you more control over team building. 4a is the most beginner friendly game in the series, and has some of the best combat as well. the story ranges from pitch black demon murder to shonen anime friendship bullshit.
>digimon cyber sleuthim gonna be honest, this is probably the worst game on the list but it's simple and it values the monsters a lot. there's tons of fun just making new digimon and raising them up. combat is pretty simple but not braindead. story is a cool modern-day cybercrime story. some chapters are very silly but there's interesting ideas about our interactions with social media and tech corporations.
