>>43359332>Weavile also beat other Pokémon before gen 6The point was about your use of "never".
>He says with no argumentI already made it, to which you replied 'no', so forgive me if you suddenly grew standards for argumentation just after I pointed out that you said 'no'.
>Steel isn’t really common. Are you kidding? Excadrill is extremely common, Aegislash is running either SD Iron Head or Specs Flash Cannon, Corviknight sometimes packs Iron Head for Clefable, Jirachi speaks for itself, Hydreigon runs Flash Cannon for Fairy-types, Ferrothorn runs Gyro Ball, and we haven't even gotten Scizor yet who'll be running around with Bullet Punch.
>Grass has 3 common weaknesses and it still has use.Ferrothorn is currently the only OU Grass-type and it's paired with Steel.
>You can still find use as long as your defense traits are valuable enough>Lots of Pokémon in general have this issue. And it still doesn’t make your defensive use less valuableI mean, Avalugg has one of the highest physical defenses in the game alongside reliable recovery and hazard removal and it was still PU. Compare that to Skarmory.
>You need to unnecessarily nerf other types for that, and you really don’t need to worry about its wide distribution. Other types have it worse. Fighting in particular isn’t even a good type right nowDepends on what you mean. Fighting type is cannibalistic so it's not good for all of its mons in that sense, but it's excellent in the sense that the diverse array of ones that edge each other out do a great job and have great coverage. Pangoro, Conkeldurr, Keldeo, Hawlucha, Kommo-o and others are all great choices to use and fight in different ways. Sirfetch'd and Pangoro do have overlap but are still both viable. Fighting, for sure, does not have it worse than Ice, if you were implying that. Taking half damage from Stealth Rock while resisting Dark is very valuable.
>The fact that it had a niche despite its “Dark typing being trash”Thanks to Atk/Speed.
