Dracovish is a lot more dangerous in Singles, it's extremely easy to stop in VGC thanks to Gastrodon not only being immune to Water, but also redirecting its attacks, meaning Dracovish is dead weight as long as Gastrodon is alive

I beg to differ. Dracovish can focus on its singular role better in VGC because its partner can cast Worry Seed, Neutralizing Gas, etc.

Worry Seed I can see, but wouldn't Neutralizing Gas also make it hit weaker thanks to also disabling Strong Jaw, anyway, not saying it can't get through Gastrodon with teammates, this team uses Sirfetch'd to get rid of it, just saying that Gastrodon is a huge thorn on its side

All of those except for Sirfetch'd and Mimikyu were used in the last real tournament before the kung flu.
And even Mimikyu's usage stats are 5%, so that's not terrible.
Sirfetch'd is the only real oddball pick, and oddball picks have always been a thing. I'm not sure exactly what role Sirfetch'd fills, but there's probably a good reason Jamie Boyt used it other than karenfagging.

Yeah, VGC never really got much better after the CHALK cancer, did it?
2016 was Bronzong cancer, 2017 was Tapu cancer, 2018 and 2019 were Incineroar cancer, and 2020 before it was cancelled was looking to be Togekiss cancer.
