>>43372018>Padding the list with mons that are just inferior versions of other mons (i.e. Alcremie) does not help your case.My case is that many switch-ins exist, so it definitely does help my case. Just because you elect not to use them because you prefer another doesn't mean they aren't able to get the job done.
Corsola is far from trash, it has trended down because Pokemon regained Knock Off and are seeing more play, but no one's forcing you to leave it in on a Conkeldurr.
>Mew can't really afford to run spdefI mean, that's cookie cutter mentality. If you want X mon to do a job, just orient it that way, don't just use lead Mew or setup Mew because they're established. It has the stats to do it.
>some of these like Ferrothorn aren't real switchinsSpDef Ferro takes 2 Specs Ice Beams, and can heal off with Leech Seed or strike back with Gyro Ball. Sure its recovery means isn't reliable, but it's not like people don't already use Seismitoad for Dracovish when Banded Outrage 2HKOs.
Personally I'm just in defense of Kyurem because it feels arbitrarily picked on when Conkeldurr, Zeraora, Diggersby, Crawdaunt, etc can almost always walk away with a kill. To me, if you're not willing to suspect Zeraora when it forces you to consider options like physically defensive Vileplume or Venusaur, then going after Kyurem for being hard-hitting is bollocks since at least there's a good diversity of mons that can come in on Kyurem. Conkeldurr is another one. Yesterday my Conkeldurr took out 5 mons on the opponent's team. The only one it didn't beat was an opposing Conkeldurr. A well-played Conkeldurr is disgustingly broken in this meta.
