>>43383525>Origins was still more soulful than the ashimeDefine "soulful". Nothing about Origins was good. It lasted four chapters and barely had anything resembling character development. Not to mention the mostly cherrypicked moments from the games and how it used every trope the anime used (MC getting pissy because of le villains, le power of friendship, generic shonen protag attitude, etc.).
>Generations was kino as fuck and provided additional context for game events,No such thing as additional context ever really happened. You don't learn anything more special about the background for Ho-Oh and the beasts since their prior forms were kept in shadows, same for shit like Emma kicking her Espurr in the face or the dumbass reporter from the Delta Episode video. The only real "additional context" was the Giovanni episode where the cops raid his gym and later on, he gets a small scene with Silver.
>and people only care about Dewgong in Galar because these non-ashime animations are held in a higher regard.Well those people should really reconsider their views on all of these web series, as none of them ever really tell stories worth following or fix any of the anime's real issues.
There's no such thing as a role model as far as Pokémon animated series go, they're all too flawed in one way or another, and the idea that no Ash means a superior series couldn't be any more wrong.
