Yeah the ai actual switch and the gym leader have strategy . I only got signot from wonder trade . I know the water gym ice beam will btfo me .

Maybe grasshole may not be the best starter currently I am banking on mud slap .

Grasshole is terrible against the Water gym, all Water mons have Ice Beam and Caroline always crits with Peck. The best thing to do is to catch the boltbeam cat at the route above the city.
