>Now youre supposed to pretend it isnt one of the biggest franchise from nintendoDepends on your metrics frankly. It's solidly in the top half at the least. Animal Crossing is still young. It sells very well and it's one of their more notable modern IP, but the broader Mario, Pokemon, Zelda, DK, and Smash franchises are far and away bigger, alongside a few others. Fun fact: Up until New Horizons, Brain Age tallied above AC in terms of best selling Nintendo franchises at number 9 with AC at number 10. This is discounting individual Mario subseries that individually rank high. With the new game, we may likely see that positioning shift to about 8th or 7th biggest franchises soon.
