I'm prepared to wait a generation or twelve for it to happen, but with GO about to hit Gen 6 and presumably Megas itself I have a feeling we'll be seeing them back in mainline sooner rather than later.

In Kyu-B's defense, its movepool draws from regular Kyurem. Base form has stubby little T-rex arms so physical moves were mostly off the table.

It almost certainly won't be Flying type.

That said if its secondary type is something good like Fighting or Ground, only having Wild Charge for Electric STAB would be fine with a higher BP option for secondary STAB in HJK/Close Combat or Earthquake, plus stuff Brave Bird for coverage.

And it is very clear they do try to balance the games to some extent, (prankster nerf, intimidate nerf, etc) balancing concerns are a just a lower priority than things like marketing hence why we get stuff like broken new mechanics or mythicals so frequently. Plus several of the issues with singles balancing is because Smogon still allows you to use moves that could only be learned in past generations on Pokemon, cancerous shit like Wish/Teleport Clefable or the omnipresence of Knock Off wouldn't exist otherwise - there's a reason GF limited Knock Off availability and removed the Teleport TM in gen 8. I vastly prefer Smogon to TPC official formats still but that stuff is stupid.
