Survive the attack with sturdy, use priority, trick choice specs onto a physical attacker, encore them if they use a non attacking move, toxic/protect/sub stall them, burn them, paralyze them, use a mon that walls them, use ditto, use mimkyu, use an unaware pokemon if they try to boost stats, phaze them, etc. There's tons of ways to get rid of most mons no matter how high their stats are, that means it's not overcentralizing in the sense that every team needs X or else it looses
Evasion requires you to ALWAYS have one of a few reliable niche answers and as soon as they knock out the niche, then you are defenseless
