I mean, you're likely getting your wish, Corona-chan's likely forcing them to pick a Japanese region as well due to not being able to get out to the countries on the junket, but they're not just doing it for the time away (fuck knows they're already getting the best personal terms package in the in Japanese gaming industry - no weekends, paid 4 weeks off work, paid public holidays no need to come into the office on public holidays, working form home if/when they need/want to), they're doing it to get some indication of the country, even if their execution ends up ramming full of Japanese-centric tropes, to greater expand their game universe.
