honestly SwSh are fine games.
They have many issues, but it still is fun.
Not every game needs to be a OMG 10/10.
Gamers in general seem to think every game is either 10/10 or 0/10. No middle ground.

I agree with that, but this is a company that would put out 8s and 9s all the time, but have been putting out 4s and 5s since 2013. That's likely the reason people want good games from them.

Retard, I grew up before gen 4 was released and there are objective faults with Gen 8 that make them considerably worse than any game in the series sans Let's Go and OG RBY which were full of bugs

I played HGSS as my first Pokémon game in 2016 when I was 22 and I've played every 3D game since then, enjoyed most of them but none of them have really topped it. With no nostalgic attachment to prior titles and a relatively fresh memory I can confidently say the new games are generally worse, and Sword/Shield was a disappointment beyond measure that pretty much killed my hopes and interests in further entries in the series.

HOWEVER they tripled the cost of Bank's successor and cut the dex.

Even if it only effects a minority of players the treatment of that minority is straight up immoral

Nah, Ultra Changes were lazy as fuck but USUM itself can at least be excused as a "definitive" 3DS game with the most features on that platform overall.

SS was what, three years in the making? And it's somehow just an inferior version of the two games that came before it in one way or another. Even a braindead pile of shit like LGPE had obviously more effort put into polishing it and had some features fans have begged for for generations like followers.

Since every 3DS Pokemon game was shit, I do agree that it's the one that most captured the feeling of "shit" so I agree with you on that point.
SS is better than USUM but that's not saying much. Worst Pokemon games in order are: SS > SM > USUM

masuda made bw, masuda made rs and laid the foundation of dp. He basically made one bad game and that is gen6. Dp just has a shit dex and is slow as fuck.
Comparing that to ohmori, who made the weakest remakes of all time, masuda made the most faithful remake of frlg and ohmori making gen7 which has a pretty good story but many other things were weak. It‘s safe to say, it‘s not masudas fault.

No. But it didn‘t start any of these. Compared to the 3ds games it is still a much better game. It doesn‘t reach anything from 1-5, except dp. But otherwise it‘s not worse than the 3ds games.

What do you mean? It offered a new mechanic, which I like much more than any other. It had a really good execution during the league. It offered a vast open world area, with tons of pokemon for nice team building and raids are unironically one of the best things they did in this franchise. It also had good graphics for the budget and time it has. Just because it didn‘t had stuff you wanted, doesn‘t mean it‘s bad.

Proper dungeons, optional dungeons, battle facilities, post game stories and side quests, the national Dex, gts, puzzles and hidden areas, backtracking to routes for editing exploration with HMs, not too mention stuff like following and ridable Pokemon, seasons, a proper day/night cycle, weather that actually makes sense, the list goes on

Gts was always shit, side quests were only a thing in gen7 and following pokemon were never a thing on a mainline game(except the one time in dp).
