How would gigamax be handled in gen 4 remakes? Lore and presentation wise it just wouldn't make any sense. Maybe they will go back to megas or do a new gimmick.

Different games take place in different universes.
DP remakes can take place in a universe where Dynamax exists in Sinnoh.

Don't you think big stadiums would be out of place in Sinnoh? And according to the lore Eternatus sleeeping beneath Galar is the only reason they can even use the energy unless i missed something. Not saying they couldn't retcon but I personally feel the gimmick has no business being in Sinnoh.

Then what would they have to promote in 2021 and 2022? I don't know if the 2 DLC packs alone can carry the entire generation. Gen 7 had both USUM and LGPE.

Probably get it around celestic ruins from Cynthia's grandmother a key ring and Rowan will give the starter's mega stone in Canalave with the other two being postgame from Barry and Dawn/Lucas.

Mega starters because duh. luxray,flygon,nidos due to fan request. Fossils,roserade,mismagius,floatzel,froslass,vesiqueen,rhyperiror,and bronzong for gyms and elite four. Purugly,skunktank,toxicroak, and honckrow for team galatic. Magnezone,Porygon-Z have some foreshadowy pokedexes. Maybe some random mons from other regions

Only for mons outside of Platinum dex. Probably randomly just to fill in type balance like a fire excadrill line or dragon/bug scolipede. Either get new regional evolutions or standard versions of the ones from SwSh

Until GF retconned Hoenn into the Mega universe, where it suddenly always was a thing. You're a dumbfuck if you don't realise that's what's happening here (the very fact there's no Megas in this set of games kinda implies it's a different universe entirely, as the series has been shown to be in SM/USM).

I didn't argue for a Z verson. I also was arguing pretty fucking hard how Hoenn remakes wouldn't happen, hence my absolute certainty they will happen this time out. they're an inevitability, because the core reasons for why Game Freak remake games (nostaligiabait for older fans and to share their older work with the newest generation of kids playing pokémon) always are relevant - there's always an oldfag they can tempt and always a 6-12 yo who's never played the games being remade who'll buy into a remake.

They'll retcon it just like ORAS retconned XY's rules about Mega Evolution. Tie it to the Sinnoh legends, like the Distortion World caused dimensional rifts that lets Pokemon twist the space the around to become Dynamax or something (to tie into Palkia), while Gigantamax is their form from a different timeline (to tie into Dialga)
