Not to be "that guy," but am I the only one who doesn't care one way or another if a Pokemon is shiny? Like sure I'll choke on my chicken tendies if I find a green Spinda, but that doesn't mean I'm more likely to use it unless I wanted one to begin with. Pretty or ugly, that kind of thing just never really resonated much. Even as a kid.

Shinies don't matter much to me. On Showdown, sure, I'll use the shiny if I like the pallet better, but it's nothing special to me otherwise.

My first shiny was a Zubat I had in my team in Pokemon Silver. But I only had the big old monochrome GameBoy, so I didn't even know it was shiny. I didn't even know what a shiny was.
And when I bought a Game Boy Color, I discovered that my Zubat was green. I thought that it meant that it was stronger than the others.
So no sir, shiny Crobat is not shit, it's the best shiny ever.

I don't really see how. Take Zigzagoon and Linoone from the same gen, their regular palettes are pretty natural and their shinies still look great.
