How do you nerf Dynamax while standing out from Megas and Z-Moves? Pic not related.

Dynamax was fine before it was known every typing had some boost associated with it. Fighting and Flying are absolutely busted.

G-Machamp should've had the +1 Atk
G-Corviknight should've had the +1 Speed
They should've juggled it around, I can definitely imagine Dynamax being balanced. G-Maxes are too weak and D-Maxes are too strong.

Make it require a held item and it only last 1 turn. Max moves don't get boosted damage.
Now it's a defensive Z move with unique secondary effects.

Change max airstream so that instead of it just giving Plus 1 speed, it sets up tailwind or some shit, tone down the base damage so they don’t exceed outrage’s base damage and have dynamax not be available for free to use without consequence and have it function in a similar manner to non host raids where you have to build it up before having access to it (kinda like how fighting games have a super meter where building it up results in a powerful attack). The main issue dynamax has is that you gain way too much of a benefit with almost no real major cost whatsoever unlike megas and Z moves where they at least they have a major drawback of losing a core strategical element aka the item slot as well as having the once per battle cost with z moves having a much tighter restriction of you only having ONE chance to make it count.

The only change I want to see with Dynamax is that Max Airstream has the same power nerf as the Max Fighting and Max Poison moves.
