What the actual fuck are trying to prove by telling me to do the thing that lead me to believe that the games are overly padded to begin with? The meme that other games are just as padded and pokemon is simply catching up is blatantly false, even the RARE few games that have this much padding are either significantly longer so as to better spread out the large amount of time spent reading dialogue or allow interaction with dialogue as part of their core function, pokemon does neither and ends up being a shitty experience because they copied the worse parts about other games and ignored what those games do that makes those things work
