It doesn't change anything for spoofers, who have no disadvantage because they can still do the superior raiding methods.

Remote raiding only works for gyms that are in visible range.

Save your lucky eggs. You should get some at level 35 if you’ve already used what you have. Coordinate your friendship level-ups and lucky-egg them.

You’ll never finish most of the quests, so you’ll never get Mew, Celebi, Jirachi, etc (barring gofest) Also you can’t do legendary raids, so you can’t get untradable Mythicals like Deoxys or Darkrai unless they show up in GBL rewards.

You set a fake geolocation and your character moves there, allowing you to play the game without moving outside your home.
It's a honeypot, spoofing on pc guarantees ban, Ispoofer/Ipogo got recent banwaves, vmos is dead so you cant have a safe spoof option for android 9+ and older android phones are using outdated software that lets them bypass all the ban checks until now.

You can, I made some overlook on what is spoofing.

Not sure if they changed it but at least when the "battle until you win" started losing all 15 battles in a round would tank your rating far more than losing 5 - decreasing your rating by ~100 points. Which does indeed make tanking more efficient.

If you still have VMOS on your phone, delete it ASAP and backup then wipe then restore your other data (if possible). Niantic is flinging out RWs to VMOS users who used to spoof and still have it installed. Get your phone as clean as possible. Remove all files that you may have leftover from the old VMOS set up.

Not sure if this is also affecting people who use VMOS for other things other than PoGo, but I would remove it no matter what just to be safe.

I just went through 3 sets where the other guy led with a counter to my lead every single match. Ended up going 7-8 and dropping 50 points.

I want to give in to the theory that Niantic places you against your counters, but then again those tr*nnies may be too stupid to code such a feature.

Personally I try to keep one of each species for every league, and several of the PVE relevant ones. If it's trash but has really good IV I will try to keep it as well. I used to try to keep everything with an IV over 90 but at some point that is hard to maintain as you keep having to make space.

There's at least 3 main ways to play the game "efficiently"
1. Keep for pokedex/collecting/shiny purposes
2. Keep those pokemon that are good for PvE/Raiding and have good IVs (there's rankings for that)
3. Keep those pokemon that have specific IV combinations for certain battle leagues/PvP (Use rankings and apps like Poke Genie to determine IVs)
