Not helping matters is that rabbits are often a trickster archetype while Nidoking and Nidoqueen are pretty brute force all around and rhinos are not found in North America. Maybe you could use Jackalope as influence so they are rabbitdeer instead of rabbitrhinos, but that doesn't lend itself to interesting design when you have fucking Sawsbuck and Stantler as your baseline.
