I like him. They definitely could have done more with him, but they communicated his character and arc well enough. Compare him to Tierno, who gets way more screentime but less development and is infinitely less memorable.

he's pretty firmly middle of the road, unless you're retarded and can't count. He's cleanly above Hau and Hop and Serena/Calem & co. and Cheren/Bianca/Hugh.
