I don't understand this either. What people like about Eevee is everything it can become, its gimmick, drawing cute fanart of the whole "family" together. Most people never gave a shit about Eevee itself because it's meant to look plain and boring, like an empty canvas with endless possibilities. GF is really missing the point with Eevee and what people want from it.

This. And the worst part is that all of the focus on Eevee rather than its evolutions collectively is that it might mean we stop getting new ones, and whatever you feel about their fans they are fun. I don't know how TPCi thinks this when Umbreon and Sylveon significantly outpaced Eevee in that poll.

I honestly think it's pretty even or close to it, that's why I said that still thinking "girls only like cute shit like Eevee" is wrong. Many are into a wide variety of stuff just like anyone else.

I think its wrong to generalize, but every girl I know that likes pokemon only likes the stage 1 of the starter pokemon, pikaclones, and eevee/eeveelutions. Pokemon fanbase is full of normalfags who only know the starters, pokemon featured in the anime, and (a few) box legends.
