You act as though fan fiction and fan made things are inherently bad (probably from some YouTuber who made a 100% original Donut Steel video about fetish art on Deviantart), when fangames sometimes become the best game in their series.
Even Sonic’s fandom, a fandom despised because the series attracts a bunch of 14 year olds, gave us Sonic Mania, Roboblast 2, and Roboblast 2 Kart.
