I like how the head prices carry the first half of the name and the back parts are the second half.
It’s stupid that the Electric and Water parts are the heads but the ends of the names in English

The -gla suffix makes me think of the "glagla" onomatopoeia rather that just "glace" for ice. I think it's ok

I guess it's just to match adjective/noun order in English. For example, "Dracovish" is basically like saying "draconid fish," the main subject of the phrase being the last word and the modifier being applied before it.

I'm german and hate the german names. been playing in english for years.

German translation and voice acting sucks 99% of the time, in all games and movies/tv

I like Frubberl, Frubaila and Fruyal for the Tsareena line.

Also since I'm a genwunner I prefer Schiggy, Bisasam and Glumanda to Squirtle, Bulbasaur and Charmander.

There are SOME good german names, but thats mostly my nostalgia I guess. Newer games (6+) I always prefer english

I wonder why, out of all European languages, only French and German get alternative names. Trying to visualize alternative Italian names, maybe that was for the better, still I wonder why Nintendo of Europe decided that way back in the 90's.
