Ever since I learned that natures and EV’s contribute to a pokèmon’s performance, I’ve been unable to casually play through a pokémon game without EV training or constantly resetting/re catching until I get the right nature.
Am I the only one that does that does this or are there other autists like me out there?

I didn't use to care about EVs until super training came along and they were actually accessible

Consider learning how to RNG, it will save you a lot of time and will solve your nature/IV problem.

I spent a week looking for a Brilliant Rookidee that was also Adamant Roost. That was for my starter replacement in the first route.

I only care about natures, but most of the time I have no idea which nature is better for most pokemon so I end up keeping the ones with neutral natures instead

Same. I know SwSh has feathers and made it so vitamins can be taken infinitely but I don't even care at this point, the game gives you so much exp just from battles and catching pokemon that being overleveled is the norm even before touching candies.

I play the games the most challenging way I can: no items, no TMs, random nature, exp. off, until the E4. I usually don't need it but it's fun to stuff my team with TMs and a held item before the E4.

I don't see how the game posses any challenge with optimal EVs, items, and TMs. Without them it's already a breeze. I still support people playing the game however makes them happy though.
