The German versions translate the move "Pound" as noun "Pfund", which is the British currency £ Pound sterling instead of the verb "to pound".

Up until TPC took over the translations, it was doner by NoA. Every game was first translated Japanese-English, THEN translated from English to whatever other EU language needed. The translations are all wrong as they were lazy burgers, as always.

In Italian until RS Pound was translated as "Libbra" which indicated the weight unit of measurement. Until XY Counter was known as "Contatore", i.e. a literal numerical counter instead of a counterattack.
