Can I please just get my normal type eevee evolution, where it's just a slightly bigger Eevee with some minor changes.

wdym canon eeveelution. If there was a normal one it'd be canon too because all its current forms are canon as it is.

I just want an Eevee that grows up without changing it's type. While all of it's friends get special new talents it just stays the same :(

What I mean is that it will look like the correct eeveelution that Eevee is meant to be because they share the same typing.
Every other eeveelution would immediately look like offshoots and be harder to market because now there is a "right" one everyone would want.

Normal type doesn't fit Eevee though, it's supposed to evolve based on unstable genes interacting with energy from the environment, which is the exact opposite of Normal.

3/8 Eevees don't fit this though, so whatever.

You are crazy if you think an eeveelution that looks just like the massevely popular eevee and shares the same typing wouldn't immediately rise to #1 in eeveelution popularity ranks and sit there forever.

Sylveon was initially hated not just because it was a brand new type but because it looked drastically different from what Eeveelutions usually look like in the face. Glaceon and Leafeon were well received.

As someone who sells merch at a con every once in a while, sylveon stuff sells about three times faster than glaceon and leafeon combined.

I believe Sylveon was hated because it was created just to promote a new type, and that said type was, and still is, rather overpowered.
