i think most people that hate his design can't stand gen 8. I personally don't own the game, but Rillaboom is one of the few designs I like. Fits well as a starter.

I think gen 5 objectively has the worst starters followed by Galar

I like Snivy's line a lot. Tepig and his evolutions can go to hell. As for Oshawott, it was all good until Samurott. But hey, to each their own. The first stage forms are actually quite good. I certainly couldn't imagine what kind of person would rank Sobble, Cinderace and Litten above them.

My tiers are in fact ordered with the leftmost being the highest in the tiers and the rightmost being the lowest.
I'm also exclusively rating the first stages since that's what's here, I'd be making a very different list were I ranking the whole lines
