>>43433489All jokes aside, I really like how even in the anime it’s heavily implied Ghetsis seriously mentally damaged N’s psyche and put him into a position where he thinks only Pokémon can understand him and vice versa. In Rainbow Rocket episode, they kept Ghetsis’ likeness to child abuse, making it truly consistent that this guy is a lunatic trying to deprive little kids of their own social constructs. It’s really sad it took N so long just to meet someone who can open his heart and show him both the truth and an idealistic world where people and Pokémon live together harmonically. It’s even more sad to think his sisters eventually grew to understand but were too weak minded to convince N themselves.
Ghetsis is such a jackass and he truly took that fact to the grave. What a great character.
