Look at the hips and super short overalls on Mallow (you can see the bottom of her ass cheeks on her full art card). Or the tits on Rosa. Or the way Misty and Hilda dress. Even Lillie is taller than the player character in Sun/Moon even though they're the same age because she's supposed to be the waifu of that game. Also the outfits on some characters, and bust anime May and Serena have.
There's a healthy amount of adult characters too. Erika, Sabrina, Whitney (though she's got a childish personality), Claire, Flannery, Gardenia, Fantina, Candice (they gave her pretty big tits for a Pokémon character in the anime), Elesa, Skyla, Valerie, Nessa, Sonia, and Bea (who is clearly designed to be built like an adult but she's pretty petite high wise), and Elite 4 members like Lorelei, Karen, Glacia, Cynthia, Shauntal, and Olivia the trial captain. And the thicc goddess the Hex Maniac.
The problem is that they draw characters who are supposed to be kids or early teens (the protagonists and some gym leaders) with similar proportions to adult characters. So we have kids/early teens, adult characters, and characters of questionable but possible legal ages like Mallow (game Mallow, we know Mallow of anime canon is around Ash's age despite the height difference and way the character is designed) and Bea all being drawn similarly because of the art style, making younger characters look older (plus some of them like Rosa were clearly designed to look more mature, Mallow seems like she's somewhere in the middle, and waifu fodder Lillie is designed to look a bit older than you're character I think, she's closer in height to some of the adults), while many of them (mostly protagonists and travel companions/rivals) being 11-14 because the target audience is children.
But if you fap to characters like Lana and Bonnie there's something that's just gross.
