Lads how good are the newest pokemon games? I haven't played any since HGSS but I kinda have too much free time now

I’m gonna respond like this is not bait. Sword and Shield have virtually nothing to do after a lackluster main campaign. You will likely complete the battle tower and then go into the wild area for a while before quitting out of extreme boredom. Although I don’t like them, if you need a 3D Pokémon game then try the Ultra games. They are pretty good in that you can kill some time with them. Replays are garbage though because of cutscenes. Since you have a lot of free time you should probably stick to generation 5 because of all the neat things packed in them(not including pokestar studios).

BW are really good, BW2 are less good but still great games, I skipped XY, Sun and Moon are ok, didnt buy Ultra SM because I'm not retarded, and the same goes of Sword and Shield.
