Always reminds me of the anime filler episode where a kid owns a Scizor but every time he battles he uses his computer to figure out the best plan of action with an algorithm. The moral is that Pokemon battling isn't about just using a computer it's about being friends with your Pokemon blah blah shounen blah blah friendship blah blah hot blooded whatever. When I was a kid I wanted that computer and I loved that concept and it helped me love Scizor too. Probably because of that episode, I always thought Scizor looked kind of robotic, but in a good way, to contrast with the more natural look of Scyther. Personally, I love it.

There is nothing about this that says it should evolve from scyther.
As a kid I thought it was stupid because scyther was supposed to hate the color red due to that one episode of the anime.

Scizor literally has the same body shape as Scyther except the hands and it looks more sleek/modern/less natural. Just look at them side by side.

At this point you're literally just saying "if it were green it would be fine". The pictured Scizor and final Scizor are the same fucking design except the final Scizor is red and doesn't have angry eyebrows.

Scyther and Scizor are among my favourite pokemon for their design alone. I'm just waiting for SwSh to open up to get my 100% Scyther and/or Scizors over from PoGo and if I can't get them I've managed to get 4 scyther and 6 Scizor on Home, so I'll just breed my own.

Actually, there's a pokedex entry for Scizor in the '99 Spaceworld build that says it hangs out around shorelines and is related to Krabby. Scizor is supposed to be a crab/lobster.
