>>43443314>>43442550The pokecrystal wiki is comprehensive and I have a romhack in beta, the fact that somebody's doing what is IMO the hardest part of a hack (spriting) means that if people don't mind we can do a "unova red" style version of crystal, where it's this fakemon dex over the normal crystal game (with an updated battle engine and modern conveniences added where applicable, of course). This will take, worst case scenario, half a year and can be done by one motivated person coding in addition to OP spriting (though the poor guy would have to make backsprites, too). Compared to sage and clover's year long dev times, this seems reasonable.
The OP's document has 175 mons more or less. pokecrystal allows there to be 253 mons in the game. This leaves 70~ish open slots. Would we want a full fakemon dex for aesthetics or, for a better gameplay experience fill the 70 open with mons from gen 2/other gens that have gen 2 style sprites? Something we can do is wait for the full dex to be made, type everything, and then check. If we don't have enough of a certain type of mon to populate the game with sufficient diversity we can begin importing others.
>>43443199>>43443173check it
propose typings for some of these guys that don't have em
* means they're sprited
>>43443299>>43443191I actually don't think we have many bugs in this gen.
>starter>mothman>grub line>inkblot butterfly>>43443237I think we should make a google doc in the style of the clover one. This will keep track of design inspirations, allow us to track what has sprites down, types done, etcetc
>>43443344It's OP's designs, let that fella be the one to decide that sort of thing
>>43443347You got a 7 so it's in bucko
>>43443237We're probably lacking fairy, ice, normal, and poison.
You mentioned in the last thread the design inspirations for most of the single stage mons, but really, what on earth is that last one? It's like a creepy pitbull pig.
