Basically, the game has an anti-cheat feature that detects certain anomalies such as big amounts of Rare Candies. When you finish the League for the first time, you're arrested by the cops and the send you to pic-related, and you've got no choice but to start from scratch.

Ive tested it.
To set off the cheat detection it only looks for:
-More than 2x Master Balls used.
-Rare Candy Count
-Postgame Legendaries not in WT rotation
-the lankymon
everything else is free game. I fixed my IVs,gave illegal movesets and maxed evs. game didnt care. Pkhex us real jumpy when you edit it, and it gets unstable. Only edit mons exp while theyre in the pc.

There's literally nothing stopping you from savestating before using an ultraball or just freezing the amount of rare candies to like 2 instead of giving 999 of them. Or using the turbo button to grind. So people who want to cheat are still gonna cheat which is why having any anti-cheat features is fucking pointless. There's a reason why almost no single-player game ever has had any cheat protection: it will be circumvented eventually, and if not, it still won't serve anyone.

There's nothing to "git gud" at in an RNG simulator where the main form of strategy is carrying a Pokemon/move that is strong against other Pokemom/move you low functioning retard, especially when you flat out state what the main challenges are so that you can catch whatever they're weak to ten feet away from where they are.
This is a peak example of making a mountain out of a molehill and it's fucking embarassing that you use this to get people to waste their time on your shitty hack.

It's honestly mindboggling how good, supported and well received Clover turned out to be despite being at its core a memey light-hearted shitpost. Back in the day /vp/'s "main" fangame that was meant to represent the board was Sage, when Clover was born most of the attention was on the former and the latter was derided and insulted by many users.
Years later and the tables have turned completely, Clover has regularly got updates that gradually expanded it past the scope of normal hacks, now it has a ton of features and an extensive post-game, while Sage is pretty much fucking dead and barely anyone remembers or has anything new to say about it.

nope. all there is is bsts and a general gist on their doc. Do yourself a favor and play the game legit till the e4. Its a lot of fun. Worry about IVs and natures then. (Its also a quick way to tell if you fucked your save)

Due the fact they altered the ganes header so it reads as an Emerald game, itd be a hit of a pain. Also, it stops you AT THE FUCKING HALL OF FAME. It prevents you from entering your mons. You cant just retry. Itll just put you back there.

Good, because I used a cheat for coins at the game corner. Fuck trying to save up that shit. I just maxed out, bought all I could, then maxed out again. Kept going until I bought every prize. Other than that I've played normally.

Dude, the game isn't even a challenge. I don't even have my full team yet (half my team is water type), and it's fairly easy. The only reason it's taking so long is there's so much padding. Like I'm in early level 40's and I don't even have the fifth badge. There's no "git gud" in a game I can play casually. And I like it that way.

My only problem now is Using save editors that dont recognize clover but recognizes the original fire red game.
I have to document what places in game correspond with the original routes so I can then edit Pokemon to have come from said route.
