>>43453302here are my thoughts as someone who actually plays PU
>Appletunis going to be a fucking defensive monster. Yeah theres some ice types that could switch out of it, but will easily take any non-STAB ice move from, for example, ludicolo. Lapras may not even be strong enough to break past thick fat with running only freeze dry. lack of flying types in the tier other than fucking rufflet is also a boon for appletun.
>CrustleI can see this being ran similar to Kommo-o. An offensive rocker than can boost up dramatically in one turn. With its bulk, absolutely viable. Huge threat to watch out for.
>DubwoolAbsolutely bullshit. Cotton Guard + Body Press is gonna buckle PU until it's inevitably banned. No idea why NU players did not use this at all despite it being in the A tier. Not enough DECENT ghost types to bother it when 5 other mons have its back.
>FalinksGarbage as always. Competes with so much better fighting types like Throh, Grapploct and now Hitmontop. No Retreat is a meme.
>Hitmontopglad that there is finally another viable spinner other than Carkol. Lack of ghost types in the tier will make spinning so much easier to the point where spike-stacking is probably gonna die off. Enjoy your toxic on the switch if you do try to spin block with a ghost type.
>Mr. RimeOffensive spinner that also provides another check to omnipotent Throh. Doesn't even have to be a spinner, this guy has many viable movesets. Spinner, utility with healing wish, CM, NP, encore to stallbreak. Even has a decent physical attack stat to consider running shit like Stomping Tantrum for Klang. This mon will absolutely make a splash in the tier
