Why doesn't someone take the idea of moemon and make an actual game out of it? Catch half-clothed anime girls that have special powers and make them fight each other.

The problem with making an actual game out of it is the logistics. What exactly are they? Where did they come from? Why do they have these powers? Are they intelligent? Capable of speech? Mute? Why is it okay to capture them? Since they replace pokemon, and people eat pokemon, do they eat moemon? Justifying enslaved cockfighting is harder when you're talking about humans, or things that look human.

I like moemon but I don't like when they mix the old sprites with the new ones. They clash badly. If only a guy or group of coomers were autistic and talented enough to sprite all 880+ mons with a defined standard and stuff it all into a firered hack that'd be cool.

I don't think that's a problem with moemon specifically. Like if you were trying to make a more serious game with world building and whatnot then those questions might be important to solve, but moemon just replaces sprites. I don't think people play it to think deeply about it, they either just want to fuck the sprites or find them cool.

In the ending you destroy the source of corruption and convince humans and Pokémon to trust each other more, effectively creating the normal Pokemon world.

Reading that discord is always a good source of entertainment, because they spend more time arguing than actually spriting. Like, a common problem they have is people asking the same questions over and over again. They DO answer some of those questions in their readme, but some sites that provide prepatched roms like Pokemoner will remove it.

At no point have they ever considered just putting those answers in the ingame Help menu, where they CAN'T be removed. Pic related, it's 5 minutes in Advance Text.
