Guys, i think it's FINALLY happening.

>Ash's endgame for the season is not only to become the best in that region, but to overall become the best trainer in the world via advancing among an actual defined point system with a non-region specific Top 8 in the entire Pokemon World
>Series is avoiding promoting the new gen almost completely and instead is focusing on pure fanservice, giving Ash a team made solely out of fan requested older gen pokemon. Merch leaks even hint at older fan favorites like Greninja and Infernape possibly returning to round up the team
>Go is being treated as a 2nd protagonist instead of just a travelling buddy according to official information. Story could possibly focus on Go once Ash becomes the ultimate trainer

Even if the last point doesn't mean anything and Go is not the replacement, there's nowhere else for the anime to go. They can't just make a season about beating all the world's best and becoming the best in the world and then return to a simple region-focused adventure like in the old days, right?

How likely is it that we'll get an actual full reboot of the anime when this is over?
