I get it, trading was a fun idea. A feature that potentially added to the game through real-life experience. But we all know it didn't always work out that way, and the novelty has long since worn off. If anyone else were to put out shit like this, it'd be called out for what it is, but because it's a Nintendo property, it's free of criticism.
