What was the most difficult experience you had with a main series Pokémon game? Mine was getting Spiritomb in Diamond.

Resetting after a click because it had become muscle memory at that point. Legendary catchrates are now really high and I know to use status effects in older games now as well so it's not an issue anymore. However, as a kid, it was devastating.

This, tried doing Nuzlocke and monotype Nuzlocke which worked but eventually you realize how boring the games are and can only mask it for so long
