Last time we had one of those was the phy/spe split in gen 4

I was thinking about a new approach to teaching moves. Every pokemon has a board of sorts like pic related where you can insert moves represented by varying tiles. The better the move, the more space it would take up. Something like scald, for example, would take up 5/10 tiles while something like water pulse only takes up 2/10. This would mean players would have to make compromises in regards to coverage and utility.
