Leon and Raihan have similar teams, but my team was basically just raihan's + Cinderace and rapidash and I beat Leon easy. Raihan got the short end of the stick, they even gave the newest dragon to Leon.

Nah, he's a decent mono-type champ. Just looking at his team, he has has decent moves and some well-known heavy-hitters.

Tentacruel, Milotic, Gyarados, and Ludicolo are all top-tier, it's just too bad whiscash and wailord aren't that great. I like the fact that despite being all water, you can't just sweep him with electric or grass types. If the AI was better, he'd be a great champ

Not really. He's subpar but Diantha, Lance and maybe Alder are worse and I haven't played the switch games so I can't rank those champions.

He’s definitely above par for monotype champions. He has an electric immunity and grass neutrality, rain dance, not totally iredeemable movesets, and 4 good mons.

However I dont really think he really can bat in the same ballpark as champions with balanced teams.
