It set out to be pokemon but better but was pokemon but worse. Pokemon's biggest issue was lack originality each game and temtem copied pokemon down to fucking gyms and a goddamn evil team. Literally such a monstrous fucking waste, there is so damn much one can do with pokemon and they decided to do exactly the same shit but without the one good point that at least it's still pokemon.
Holy shit Temtem is so fucking bad jesus christ, don't remind me of it's existence, I was almost excited by the prospect of pokemon getting actual competition

Basically all that and more. Blamed the server crash on EA launch on a DDoS attack, never mind doing 3 stress tests to avoid this (fair enough, most MP games have server issues day one, but they all cop to it being so many trying to log on at once, instead of reeing and looking for a scapegoat).
