Why does SwSh look so graphically awful? And no, "b-because old game also has bad graphics!" is not an answer.

It's Gamefreak's first time doing it on a home console. Ideally they would have asked for the help of a company with experience, but they couldn't let even a sliver of profit escape them.

Probably because nu-Game Freak is lazy and knows they can still make millions even with shitty rushed and unfinished products.

LGPE was their first time doing it on a home console, not Sword and Shield. Also, first time is not an excuse, plenty of companies have made great looking games for their first time on a home console.

Game Freak own TPC, not the other way around. Further to that, TPC get paid for the work on the games they do out of the production budget - they see nothing from a game's profits, that's split 3 ways between Nintendo, Creatures and Game Freak without it even seeing TPC accounts.

Like the other anon said, Gamefreak is part owner of TPC. Also, they choose to remain small, they've stated this before. They claim it's to have better communication, but it's obvious they do it to pocket more money.
