>>43481340It surely was supposed to happen. Why do you think Hoopa is in ORAS Hoenn allowing you access to all the legendaries? Why the fuck are Zygarde Cells in Alola? There's no legitimate reason that makes remote sense other than "we couldn't put it in Pokemon Z". My honest thoughts are that in a timeline Pokemon Z is released, Gen 7 would have been released on the Switch, and THOSE games would've gotten the criticism that SwSh did for being garbage, thus making alternate universe SwSh more acceptable as games than we know them to be. Pokemon Z is the missing link, and we live in the wrong timeline.
