It's degenerate cancer that invalidates the concept of chip damage and resets the game state too many times with very little drawbacks. Not only do passive Pokemon who have trouble reliably recovering benefit from this but also wallbreakers and offensive pivots who are supposed to be suspectible to getting worn down.

Here's a prime example of why gen 8 OU is so boring, this whole match is a mess:

Clefable is strong, but it's not broken.
It's really predictable and it doesn't have much to offer on the offensive side.
Corviknight on the other hand, is just plain bullshit and is the real problem in the gen 8 meta.
